Sue Lindsay
New Zealand Excellence Consultant
New Zealand Young Executive of the Year, Southlander of the Year, Direct Marketer of the Year finalist, and winner of the World Young Business Achievers award in Beijing—that’s just some of the recognition received for this feisty New Zealander’s dynamic approach to life, leadership, and business.
As the General Manager of a major New Zealand agribusiness, Sue challenged conventional business wisdom and transformed a traditional rural service company into a world-class customer driven organization. She is credited with masterminding strategies and leading a team that doubled revenues in a Top 200 New Zealand company.
Since leaving corporate life in 2003, Sue has pursued her passion for inspiring excellence, one person and one organization at a time. She is a highly sought-after keynote speaker, a master coach and consultant working with individuals, groups, and businesses throughout New Zealand and internationally. Sue serves as a member of the Bank of New Zealand’s Growth Program faculty. She is the creator of the highly regarded Directions and Women in Business programs, focused on life, leadership, and business.
A life-time fan of the work of Tom Peters, Sue works in partnership with Tom Peters Company on Excellence Audit projects. Having seen for herself the deep impact of the Excellence Audit on leadership and business, Sue is excited about the difference she can make in business in New Zealand through exploiting what she sees as potentially the most powerful and relevant model available to organizations and leaders seeking sustainable success in the post-recession economy.
